So, out of nowhere, I just remembered that I had an epic Horatio Hornblower fic planned out revolving around an OFC who was 1) a gypsy and 2) Wellard's mom. The fic was heavily influenced by Fleetwood Mac's "Gold Dust Woman" though it is with some shame I admit that, at the time, I had only heard the Sister Hazel cover. In recent news, the Big Project of Big Doom has developed a plot twist which consists of PURE LUNACY and also, somewhat related to that, now involves cowboys and Indians. The PURE LUNACY part involves a snowboarding ghost who can speak the secret language of horses.

I'm not sure what it says about me that I bought a 12" Star Trek action figure (Pike, natch) and The Lost Lunar Baedecker: Poems of Mina Loy within minutes of each other.
